About the land valuation notices

The notices have been issued in accordance with the Land Valuation Act 2010 with the valuations to take effect for local government rating, state land tax and state land rental purposes on 30 June 2016.

Rates are based on a number of factors, with valuation only one of those factors. Rates are set by local governments under the Local Government Act 2009 or the City of Brisbane Act 2010 when they determine their annual budgets.
